Analysis report from Norwegian Food Safety Authority, Norwegian Directorate of Health and the Department of Nutrition at University of Oslo, 2012.
The report gives a detailed description of the sampling, analysis and the work with the results until the published values in the Food Composition table. Original, the samples were collected in order to monitor the content of contaminant in wild and farmed fish. No large differences in nutrient were found compared to the old values in the earlier versjon of the Norwegian Food Composition table (MVT-06) for the relevant fish types. The most notable finding was lower concentration of vitamin D in mackerel, and the cholesterol values were somewhat higher than earlier values for all types of fish.
